Tapping switches is one of the indispensable tools in our life. Through them, we can realize the purpose of switching lights, induction cooker and some electrical equipment, and live a colorful life. Common problems of lightly touching the switch include but are not limited to some common problems, such as hand feeling, adhesion, cover falling off, light pressing does not turn on, resistance value is high, and pressing does not move after passing the furnace.
1、 Feel
A large number of customers have been responding. The feel of samples sent by many suppliers is very consistent. However, when it comes to mass production, the feel is different. In fact, this problem is very common. As we all know, the feel and key force of the switch are controlled by shrapnel. We often say that shrapnel is divided into phosphor copper shrapnel and stainless steel shrapnel. At present, most manufacturers basically choose phosphor copper shrapnel in order to save costs. Because phosphor copper shrapnel has high cost performance, this is also the reason why it is widely used. However, the phosphor copper shrapnel will change and shrink seriously after the furnace temperature, which will lead to poor hand feel. Using stainless steel shrapnel will not have this problem, but the cost of stainless steel shrapnel is relatively high, which leads many manufacturers to choose phosphor copper shrapnel. Therefore, when purchasing a light touch switch, you must ask a clear question.
2、 Adhesion
Ultra thin light touch switches are generally called membrane switches. Thin switches need membrane cooperation in order to be truly thin. However, many films have poor temperature resistance, and will fall off after heating. The adhesion referred to in our professional terms is actually the viscosity of the film. The imported PI film has a good control of this. Its adhesion is 400g, which is very suitable for the use of switches. How to be too light will often fall off. If the switch is too heavy, it will not move. Many manufacturers choose domestic cheap PI film in order to save costs, and the switch is very prone to adhesion problems. It is recommended that you ask the manufacturer before purchasing. The same is true of the light touch switch with points. If you use imported rubber, the points will not fall off easily. If you use domestic ones, your problem will come. You get what you pay for. I suggest you choose a manufacturer with high quality requirements and give yourself a satisfactory manufacturer.
3、 The cover falls off
In the production process, there will be leakage of the cover of the customer response switch. Why did the cover fall off when it was properly switched? First of all, we need to understand the structure of the switch. The cover of the switch is covered at the back. This is a constant production process for ten thousand years. Familiar people will find that the cover is fixed by the four rivet points on the base, so as long as the four rivet points are loose or the rivet points shrink or deform after high temperature, the cover will fall off. To prevent the cover, only pay attention to the following two problems. First, the base should be made of temperature resistant materials, and the second riveting point should be riveted and fixed. If the above two problems are well done, this problem will be perfectly solved.
4、 Press lightly and it will not be connected
When using products, many consumers often find that pressing the key doesn't respond. It takes a lot of force to press it, and the product has functional response. Because our switches are exposed to the air, many finished products are not sealed, and consumer electronic products need heat dissipation. In wet weather, the shrapnel of the switch is easy to be oxidized, and the contact performance after oxidation is not as good as before, that is, there is a problem that it will not be conductive when pressed lightly. Many consumers also removed the switch and found a small black spot on the shrapnel, which is the effect of shrapnel oxidation. Therefore, it is suggested that the electronic products we do not use at ordinary times should be placed in a dry place, and the electronic parts should be oxidized in advance.
5、 High resistance
At present, many customers do not know much about the resistance value of switches. Generally, our switch resistance value is controlled below 30m Ω, so the contact performance and life of switches are very good, but some switches have high resistance value after furnace temperature and life test. What effect will high resistance have on the switch? If the resistance is high, it means that the contact area between the spring piece of the switch and the pin pin is too small. A small contact area will cause the switch not to contact. Once the switch is not contacted, it will be bad. Therefore, we should be careful about the resistance of the switch. The spring and pin pins have high requirements for electroplating, and the resistance value will be low after electroplating. After the life test of the switch, the surface of the shrapnel will be worn. If the plating is thin, the resistance value will be high, and the switch will be poor.
6、 After passing the furnace, it cannot be pressed
A good switch can't be pressed after the experience of reflow soldering. It's pathetic. Many customers are also responding to this problem, so what is the reason? The patch switch is close to the PCB, and the pin pin pin will be pasted. If the hole of the steel mesh is a little larger, the solder paste can easily flow into the inside of the switch. If there is foreign matter in the inside of the switch, it will certainly affect its travel. The most common is that it cannot be pressed. Another situation is that the sealing performance of the switch is poor, and the flux flows into the inside of the switch, so the problem comes.
